Connecting naturally to home through my own environment, I elicit memory and history through objects and structures within them. The design of interior living spaces has always interested me, along with the feelings and emotions they conjure. I find myself inspired by how rooms can be transformed through colour, architecture and the things within them.

In my own home I create juxtapositions between objects, furniture and the space around them like tableaux or artworks themselves. Filtered or reflected light casts beautiful shadows over objects in its path and sunlight shines upon a corner of the room. These are the subjects for many of my paintings.
